Electrical Design Engineer - Control Panel Job in Gujarat

Lubi Electronics is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our Control Panel Department. The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical designs, control panel drawings, electrical schematics, and documentation as per project requirements and applicable standards.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Electrical Design / Control Panel Design and preferably have worked with Panel Manufacturing Companies, Automation Solution Providers, System Integrators, or OEMs.

Eligibility & Education Criteria

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design or Control Panel Design.

Job Details

- Position: Electrical Design Engineer

- Software Skills: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and EPLAN is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Schematics: Design and develop electrical control panels, schematics, wiring diagrams, control circuits, power circuits, and panel layouts based on project requirements.
- Software Utilization: Create, review, and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
- Component Sizing & Selection: Select appropriate electrical components including MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays,



overloads, power supplies, terminal blocks, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and ensure proper cable and protection sizing.
- BOM & Specifications: Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and component specifications for electrical panels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Project, Application, and Engineering teams for smooth panel manufacturing and project execution.
- Production & Testing Support: Assist the production team in troubleshooting wiring/design issues during manufacturing, panel testing, inspection, and commissioning.
- Standards & Quality: Ensure all drawings and engineering documentation strictly adhere to applicable electrical safety standards, quality norms, and company guidelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Solid understanding of electrical schematics, interlocking circuits, power circuits, and industrial automation components.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, SMPS, protection devices, relays, and switchgear.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and translate them into efficient panel engineering designs.
