HashHackCode is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support our digital presence, content creation, and community engagement.

This role is ideal for a student, recent graduate, or fresher who enjoys social media, storytelling, design, and creating meaningful content. You will work with our team to communicate HashHackCode’s programmes, learner stories, workshops, and impact across different social media platforms.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

Content Planning and Creation

- Assist in creating monthly content calendars for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop ideas for posts, reels, carousels, stories, videos, and campaigns.
- Write clear and engaging captions that reflect HashHackCode’s brand voice.
- Create straightforward social media graphics and edit short-form videos using Canva or similar tools.

Social Media Management

- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
- Maintain consistency in messaging, visual style, and posting frequency.
- Organise content files, captions, creative assets, and publishing schedules.
- Support campaigns for programmes, workshops, events, learner stories, partnerships, and recruitment.

Community Engagement

- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience responses.
- Assist with responding to comments and DMs in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for collaborations and meaningful community engagement.

Research and Performance Tracking

- Research trends in education, parenting, inclusion, technology, and social impact.
- Observe relevant brands and competitors to identify useful content ideas.
- Track basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, views, and follower growth.




- Help prepare simple reports highlighting what is working and what can be improved.

What We’re Looking For

- Students, recent graduates, or freshers interested in social media, digital marketing, content creation, or brand communication.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A basic understanding of platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- An interest in captions, storytelling, reels, carousels, and visual content.
- Basic experience with Canva or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with short-form video editing is an added advantage.
- Organised, creative, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Ability to manage tasks and meet content deadlines.
- A genuine interest in inclusive education, social impact, and accessible technology learning.
- A portfolio, personal social media page, college project, or content samples would be helpful but are not mandatory.
