SEO & Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for an SEO & Marketing Intern to join our marketing team and help grow our organic presence and brand voice. This is a hands on role covering SEO, digital marketing, and content creation, from optimizing our website for search to writing blogs, social captions, and product copy that bring our herbal and wellness story to life.

What You'll Work On

Conduct keyword research and on page SEO for herbandhouse.com

Plan and execute organic growth strategies across SEO and content marketing

Write and create content: blog posts, social media captions, product descriptions, and email campaigns

Assist with paid campaigns (Meta/Google Ads), including tracking, reporting, and optimization

Monitor performance using Google Analytics and Search Console, and share actionable insights

Plan and maintain a social media content calendar

Coordinate with the design and development team for landing pages, campaign assets, and banners

Research competitors and trends in the herbal/wellness D2C space

What We're Looking For

Someone who is curious, hands on, willing to learn, and comfortable writing and experimenting independently. Strong fundamentals and a genuine interest in marketing matter more than knowing every tool listed. Freshers with relevant projects or a writing portfolio are welcome.

Interest in SEO,

Comfortable writing engaging, on brand content (blogs, captions, product copy)

Basic familiarity with SEO/analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, keyword research tools)

Creative mindset with an eye for detail and brand consistency

Compensation & Growth

Month 1: Unpaid, training and evaluation

Months 2 to 3: Stipend starting at Rs. 6,000/month

Post internship: Full time role with market standard salary, based on strong performance

Final stipend/salary depends on the candidate's skills, ownership shown during the internship, and prior experience.
