Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity estimation, cost control, BOQ preparation, measurements, billing, material reconciliation, and commercial documentation for civil construction projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of construction quantities, rates, contracts, and project cost management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-offs, estimates, and rate analysis.
- Conduct detailed quantity calculations from approved drawings and specifications.
- Verify site measurements and quantities executed at site.
- Prepare and verify client bills, RA bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills.
- Monitor project quantities and costs against the approved BOQ and budget.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation and material reconciliation statements.
- Identify variations, deviations, additional works, and extra items.
- Prepare and maintain variation statements and additional work claims.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, Project Managers, Billing Engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify changes affecting project quantities and costs.
- Assist in preparation of project estimates and cost reports.
- Monitor material consumption and wastage against approved quantities.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, BOQs, bills, approvals, and commercial documents.
- Support project teams in cost control and budget monitoring.




- Assist in contract administration and commercial matters.
- Prepare regular quantity and cost reports for management review.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and civil construction.
- Good understanding of BOQ, estimation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, and billing.
- Knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Experience in client and subcontractor billing.
- Knowledge of quantity and material reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Eligibility

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 4–10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying / QS / Estimation / Billing.
- Experience in building, residential, commercial, or infrastructure construction projects will be preferred.
- Candidates willing to work at construction project sites are preferred.
