Job Description:
Provost Contrives is looking for an experienced Import / Export Executive to manage and coordinate import and export activities within the automotive manufacturing industry. The role will involve documentation, logistics coordination, customs clearance, compliance, and timely shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage import/export documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, and customs.
- Handle import/export shipments, customs clearance, and logistics activities.
- Prepare and verify shipping and commercial documents.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Finance, and Sales teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable EXIM procedures and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions.




- Prepare MIS reports and shipment-related documentation.
- Resolve logistics, documentation, and shipment-related issues.

Required Skills

- 4–5 years of experience in Import/Export / EXIM operations, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
- Experience coordinating with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters.
- Valuable knowledge of commercial and logistics documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
