About the Role

Garima Ramchandani Designs is looking for an Interior Designer / Draughtsman with 1+ years of experience in preparing detailed interior design drawings and working drawings.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior construction, detailing, dimensions, materials, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate and practical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D interior working drawings for residential and commercial projects.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, ceiling layouts, flooring layouts, electrical layouts, and other relevant drawings.
- Prepare detailed working drawings for furniture, plumbing, electrical, false ceiling, and other interior elements.
- Prepare drawings with proper dimensions and specifications.
- Coordinate drawings with the design and execution team.
- Make revisions based on site requirements and design changes.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed, and practical for execution.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams whenever required.
- Visit project sites when required to understand site conditions and take measurements.

Requirements





- Minimum 1 year of experience in interior design drawings / working drawings.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of interior construction and execution details.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and interior design drawings.
- Good knowledge of furniture, materials, dimensions, and construction methods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of 3ds Max, SketchUp, or other 3D software will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in residential interior projects.
- Good understanding of modular furniture and site execution.
- Strong detailing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with designers, vendors, and contractors.
- Candidates with a valuable portfolio of working drawings will be preferred.
