Job Description: Implementation & Support Engineer – Retail Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Implementation & Support Engineer to join our team for a key 1-year client engagement in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be embedded directly at the client's site to drive the smooth deployment, technical support, and daily operation of their core retail software platform.

This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with hands-on experience in retail POS and ERP software who thrives in an active, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Onsite Implementation: Lead and assist with the deployment, configuration, and integration of the retail platform at the client facility.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational support, resolving system bugs, POS issues, and data sync errors in a timely manner.

Client Engagement: Work directly with onsite client stakeholders and store personnel to understand operational workflows and address system queries.

User Training & Onboarding: Conduct hands-on training sessions for end-users on platform features, inventory management, and transaction processing.

System Testing & Validation: Perform functional checks, patch deployments,



and user acceptance testing (UAT) before go-live phases.

Documentation: Maintain precise log records of issues, implementation checklists, and user query resolutions.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:

2–4 years of proven experience in retail product implementation, software deployment, or tier-2/3 application support.

Hands-on exposure to mainstream Retail ERP / POS solutions (e.g., Ginesys, LS Retail, ETP, or equivalent retail management platforms is highly preferred).

Technical Skills:

Robust understanding of retail operations (POS workflows, stock/inventory management, billing, and store promotions).

Familiarity with database queries (SQL) for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Basic understanding of hardware integration (receipt printers, barcode scanners, thermal printers).

Communication & Language Skills:

Fluency in Telugu and English (Mandatory) to effectively coordinate with local store teams and project management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
