Job Description

We are looking for a Design Trainee who is interested in developing a career in SPM, automation, and mechanical machine design. The candidate will work with the design team and gain practical experience in 3D modelling, 2D drawings, machine assemblies, fixtures, and manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Design Engineers in developing SPM and automation machine designs.
- Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare and update 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in designing machine components, fixtures, brackets, jigs, and assemblies.
- Support the preparation of BOM and engineering documentation.
- Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and fits.
- Coordinate with the production and assembly teams for design-related requirements.




- Make design modifications based on manufacturing and assembly feedback.
- Learn practical machine design and manufacturing processes.
- Support the Design Engineer during machine development and trial activities.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and fits.
- Interest in SPM and industrial automation.
- Valuable learning ability and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Candidates with 0–1 year experience in mechanical design may also apply.
