Nika Consulting is looking for a hands-on Senior Google Ads Specialist with strong experience managing lead-generation and e-commerce campaigns.

The successful candidate will take complete ownership of multiple client accounts, from strategy and campaign setup through to optimisation, conversion tracking and performance reporting.

The main focus of this role is generating qualified leads and sales while improving CPA, conversion rates and return on ad spend.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage Google Ads strategies for multiple client accounts
- Set up and optimise Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, Demand Gen and YouTube campaigns
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and search-term reviews
- Create effective campaign structures, ad groups, audiences and keyword strategies
- Write and test high-converting ad copy
- Manage budgets, bidding strategies, locations, devices and audience targeting
- Improve lead quality, conversion rates, CPA and ROAS
- Manage Google Merchant Center and optimise product feeds
- Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager and GA4
- Track form submissions, phone clicks, purchases and other important conversions
- Implement enhanced conversions and offline conversion tracking where required
- Audit existing accounts and identify wasted spend and growth opportunities
- Review landing pages and recommend conversion improvements
- Monitor campaign performance and make data-based optimisation decisions
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports with clear insights and next steps
- Communicate campaign performance and strategy clearly to clients
- Coordinate with developers, designers and account managers
- Guide junior team members and review the quality of their work
- Stay updated with Google Ads changes, automation and AI-powered campaign features
- Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on Google Ads experience




- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts
- Strong experience with lead-generation and e-commerce campaigns
- Advanced knowledge of Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns
- Strong understanding of keyword match types and negative keyword strategies
- Practical experience with automated bidding and audience targeting
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience setting up and testing accurate conversion tracking
- Experience with Google Merchant Center and product feed optimisation
- Proven ability to improve CPA, ROAS, lead quality and sales performance
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
- Good written English and client communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets, priorities and deadlines independently
- Preferred Skills
- Previous digital marketing agency experience
- Google Ads certifications
- Experience managing Recent Zealand and Australian campaigns
- Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce and WordPress websites
- Knowledge of Looker Studio reporting
- Experience with enhanced conversions and offline conversion imports
- Understanding of landing page optimisation and CRO
- Knowledge of Meta Ads and SEO will be an added advantage
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members
