We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations. The Sous Chef will be responsible for maintaining high food-quality standards, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and assisting with menu preparation and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper food preparation, portion control, presentation, and consistency.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and storage.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
- Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and daily specials.
- Manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Minimize food waste and control food costs.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth and timely food service.
- Step in for the Head Chef when required.
- Follow all company policies, health regulations,



and safety procedures.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen position.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary qualification or relevant professional experience preferred.
