About the Role

RANJAKAA is looking for a creative and hands-on Freelance Product Designer in Jaipur to develop products across home fashion, wall art, fashion accessories, and textile bags.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of textiles, fabrics, surface embellishment and current design trends, along with practical experience working with local artisans and craftsmen.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and design product collections based on seasonal themes.
- Develop designs for wall arts, fashion accessories and textile bags.
- Work directly with local artisans and craftsmen during sample development.
- Create artwork and design concepts for embroidery, placement prints and surface embellishments.
- Select suitable colors, fabrics, materials and substrates for products.
- Develop designs using materials such as canvas, cotton, jute, silk and other suitable textiles.
- Coordinate with artisans during sampling and product development.
- Ensure designs are practical,



aesthetically appealing and suitable for production.

Requirements

- Proven freelance or professional experience in Home Fashion, Home Décor, Textile Bags or Fashion Accessories.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, textile structures, material weights and their practical applications.
- Hands-on experience in sample development with artisans.
- Knowledge of Jaipur's traditional craft techniques such as block printing, Chikan, Aari embroidery, Kantha, Adda work and different yarn techniques.
- Strong portfolio showcasing print layouts, embroidery and surface embellishment.
- Good understanding of Indian and international home & lifestyle trends.
- Based in Jaipur or willing to travel within Jaipur for sampling and artisan coordination.
- Creative, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently on project-based assignments.
