About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to handle end-to-end purchasing and vendor management activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement, supplier coordination, price negotiation, sourcing, and inventory management.

Candidates from FMCG, Retail, Distribution, Trading, Purchase, or related industries are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily purchase and procurement activities.
- Source products/materials from reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor stock requirements and coordinate with the Stores/Inventory team.
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Stores, and other departments.
- Track market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve purchase-related issues.
- Maintain purchase records, reports,



and documentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Purchase /Supply Chain / Vendor Management.
- Experience in FMCG is preferred.
- Candidates from Retail, Distribution, Trading, Wholesale, or related industries can also apply.
- Robust vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of sourcing and purchasing processes.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP, or Tally.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to compare prices, evaluate suppliers, and make purchase decisions.
- Sales or Marketing experience will be an added advantage.
