Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Design & Development Engineer (Machineshop) to design, develop, test, and improve products from concept to production. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop recent products and components based on technical and customer requirements
- Create 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using design SolidWorks software
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies
- Develop prototypes and support testing, validation, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams during product development
- Conduct design reviews and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and regulations
- Support product cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and revision control
