Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Tool Room Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our tool room. The ideal candidate should have expertise in precision machining, tooling, and maintenance of machine tools. They will be responsible for managing tool inventory, supervising the team, and ensuring the smooth functioning of tooling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate activities of tool room personnel.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor workload to ensure efficiency.
- Oversee the manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all tooling equipment.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to improve tool performance.
- Maintain tool inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues to minimize downtime.




- Train and mentor tool room staff to enhance their skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace guidelines.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years in tool room supervision, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Experience with CNC, VMC, and conventional machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and SolidWorks designs.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
