We are searching for a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to orchestrate on-prem to AWS migrations and incorporate generative AI into cloud workloads. You will execute migrations with MGN/DMS/DataSync/Snowball, implement IaC and CI/CD, and enable monitoring with CloudWatch/CloudTrail/Prometheus—apply now.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end migration of on-prem applications to AWS using Rehost, Replatform and Refactor approaches
- Analyze existing infrastructure, identify dependencies and define migration strategy
- Design scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS architectures
- Perform hands-on migrations using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync and Snowball
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Automate release and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
- Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads such as chatbots, automation and data insights
- Apply Generative AI services in AWS including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs




- Drive AI-driven automation in DevOps and migration processes

Requirements

- Professional 5 to 8 years of professional experience in cloud engineering and migration
- High-level expertise in AWS compute services including EC2, Lambda and ECS/EKS
- Practical proficiency with AWS storage services such as S3, EBS and EFS
- Strong understanding of AWS database services including RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB
- Working background in AWS networking with VPC, VPN and Direct Connect
- In-depth skills in AWS security services including IAM, KMS and Secrets Manager
- Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS and DataSync/Snowball
- Strong competency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
- Basic to intermediate exposure to Generative AI services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM-based application use cases
