Key Responsibilities – Industrial Engineer (IE) – Operation Breakup, SAM & PPC

- Operation Breakup & Process Analysis – Prepare detailed operation breakdowns, process sequences, machine requirements, manpower requirements, and workflow for each product/style.
- SAM & Time Study – Conduct time studies and calculate Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM) for each operation. Establish and maintain approved operation standards.
- Line Balancing & Productivity – Perform line balancing based on SAM, operator capacity, workload, and production targets to improve line efficiency and productivity.
- PPC Coordination – Coordinate closely with the Production Planning & Control (PPC) team for production planning, capacity planning, manpower allocation, line loading, target setting, and production schedules. Provide IE data required for effective production planning.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement – Compare actual production performance against SAM and planned targets, identify bottlenecks and productivity gaps, and implement process improvement measures.
- Documentation, Certification & Reporting – Maintain operation breakdowns, SAM sheets, time-study records,



line-balancing reports, and productivity reports. Should have relevant certification/training in Industrial Engineering, Work Study, Time

Preferred Skills & Certifications

· Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in operation breakup, time study, SAM calculation, line balancing, and productivity analysis.

· Software Skills: Working knowledge of MS Excel and relevant IE/SAM software.

· Analytical Skills: Robust problem-solving, process improvement, data analysis, and report preparation skills.

· Industry Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, work measurement, Lean Manufacturing, and efficiency improvement.

· Certifications: Certified training in Industrial Engineering, Work Study, Time Study, and SAM Calculation. Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
