Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in migration projects, Agile testing practices, CI/CD integration, and test framework development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and execute UI automation test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Work on application migration and testing activities, ensuring functional and regression coverage.
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable automation testing frameworks.
- Implement Agile testing practices such as BDD, TDD, and Cucumber.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Identify and implement testing best practices, reusable components, and solution accelerators.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them using JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Participate in test planning, estimation,



execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Improve test automation coverage, framework reliability, and execution efficiency.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation standards.

Mandatory Skills

- 4–10 years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience in UI Automation Testing.
- Valuable understanding of BDD/TDD and Cucumber.
- Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with JIRA and/or ServiceNow.
- Experience in developing or enhancing automation testing frameworks.
- Good understanding of testing best practices and automation design principles.
