Role Description The Barista at Jupiter Hospital is a full-time, on-site role based in Kalyan Dombivli, focused on providing high-quality beverages and a welcoming experience for patients, visitors, and staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other drinks according to established recipes and safety standards, as well as handling light food preparation and maintaining cleanliness of the service area and equipment. The Barista will greet guests, take orders accurately, manage point-of-sale transactions,



and respond to questions about menu items in a courteous and productive manner. The role also involves restocking inventory, following hygiene and hospital safety protocols, and collaborating with the hospitality and clinical teams to support a calm, comfortable environment. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed, is expected.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage courteously with patients, visitors, and staff and handle high-traffic periods professionally.
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, basic coffee brewing techniques, and familiarity with café equipment operation and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to take orders accurately, provide information on menu offerings, and coordinate effectively with team members.
- Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, with an emphasis on hygiene, safe handling, and adherence to hospital and regulatory standards.
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred, especially within healthcare or institutional settings.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a calm, respectful demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and POS/cash-handling skills, along with attention to detail and reliability in following procedures and schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; formal training in hospitality or food
