We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with comprehensive expertise in end-to-end global entity accounting to manage our multi-country financials. This role requires hands-on experience handling subsidiary accounting within the IT Services / Technology sector, including intercompany reconciliations, multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, statutory filings, and multi-country payroll management.
The ideal candidate brings deep working knowledge of finance operations and regulatory standards across India (IN), Singapore (SG), and either Australia (AU) or handled more than 2 or 3 country accounting process.
Key Responsibilities
1. General Ledger & Subsidiary Accounting
- Manage full-cycle end-to-end accounting for multiple corporate entities across India, Singapore, and Australia.
- Maintain subsidiary entity general ledgers, ensuring accurate revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) for IT service contracts, software delivery, and time-and-materials (T&M;) models.
- Prepare, analyze, and deliver timely monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated balance sheets, P&L; statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee multi-currency accounting, tracking FX gain/loss (realized and unrealized) across intercompany transactions.
2. Complex Reconciliations & Intercompany Accounting
- Perform detailed bank, balance sheet, and sub-ledger reconciliations across all operating entities.
- Execute monthly intercompany reconciliations, transfer pricing entries, and cross-border cost allocations between parent and subsidiary entities.
- Track deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, prepaid expenses, and accrued expenses specific to tech operations.
3. Tax Compliance & Statutory Filings
- India (IN): Manage GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS/TCS filings, Advance Tax computations, and annual Income Tax returns.
- Singapore (SG): Oversee quarterly GST filings, Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) calculations,
Corporate Income Tax returns (Form C/C-S), and ACRA annual filings.
- Australia (AU):
- Australia: Handle & have knowledge on Business Activity Statements (BAS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), Pay As You Go (PAYG) withholdings, and ATO year-end filings.
- Direct external local audit teams, tax advisors, and corporate secretarial service providers in each jurisdiction to ensure 100% compliance.
4. End-to-End Global Payroll
- Execute end-to-end monthly payroll operations for employees and contractors across IN, SG, and AU.
- Ensure accurate statutory payroll withholdings and employer contributions:
- IN: PF, ESI, Skilled Tax, and Income Tax (TDS on Salary).
- SG: CPF contributions and IRAS Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) / IR8A filings.
- AU: Superannuation & PAYG (AU) or 401(k), state/federal payroll taxes.
5. Audit, Treasury & Financial Analysis
- Lead internal and external financial audits across all operational geographies.
- Manage international treasury, cross-border wire transfers, cash flow forecasting, and working capital needs.
- Maintain compliance with local foreign exchange management regulations (e.g., RBI/FEMA guidelines in India).
Qualifications & Key Competencies
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. good to have professional qualification.
- Experience: 5 to 8+ years of hands-on, end-to-end multi-entity accounting experience—strictly required to have exposure to handeling parent & subsidiary entities in IT Services or SaaS business models.
- Regional Expertise: Proven working knowledge of corporate finance rules, tax filings, and payroll frameworks across IN, SG, and AU.
- Systems Proficiency: Expertise in multi-currency ERPs (QuickBooks Xero, ZOHO) and international payroll engines (Deel, Rippling, ADP, RazorpayX Payroll).
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling). Strong understanding of intercompany elimination entries and Transfer Pricing rules.
