Role Description The Senior Accounts Payable role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karur. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, vendor reconciliations, and timely payments. The position involves reviewing and processing expense reports, preparing and posting journal entries, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. The Senior Accounts Payable professional will monitor outstanding payable balances, resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams, and support monthly and annual closing activities.



The role also includes contributing to process improvements, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and supporting audits and management reporting.
Qualifications

- Solid Accounting and Finance skills, with experience managing accounts payable operations and general ledger activities.
- Proficiency in preparing and posting Journal Entries (Accounting) and ensuring accurate documentation of financial transactions.
- Experience handling Expense Reports, including verification, policy compliance checks, and reimbursement processing.
- Solid Analytical Skills to reconcile vendor accounts, investigate variances, and support financial reporting and audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting software, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with hospital or healthcare finance is preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
