Role Description This is a full time, on-site General Dentist role based in Chennai. The General Dentist will perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing preventive care (such as cleanings and patient education), performing restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions), and collaborating with orthodontic and other dental specialists when needed. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and delivering a positive patient experience through clear communication and compassionate care. The dentist will also participate in case discussions,



contribute to practice development, and stay current with clinical guidelines and advancements in dentistry.

Qualifications

- Valid BDS degree from a recognized institution; MDS in a relevant specialty is an advantage.
- Current dental registration/license eligible for practice in Chennai/Tamil Nadu.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and preventive dentistry.
- Knowledge of infection control standards, chairside protocols, and safe use of dental equipment and materials.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-treatment care.
- Strong attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Comfort working with digital dental records, radiographic imaging, and basic practice management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and orthodontic specialists in a team environment.
- Willingness to work full time on-site in Chennai and maintain punctuality and professional conduct.
- Prior experience in a private clinic or hospital setting is preferred but motivated early-career dentists are encouraged to apply.
