About Synq.Work

Synq Work operates in the managed office and commercial real estate space, designing and delivering efficient, functional, and client-focused workplaces.

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman who understands commercial office planning and can convert client requirements, site measurements, and business needs into practical, space-efficient office layouts and detailed working drawings.

This role will work closely with the CEO, Business, Projects, and Operations teams on new client requirements, office expansions, space planning, layout optimization, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD layouts for commercial offices and managed workspaces.
- Develop efficient office layouts based on available carpet area, client seat requirements, and operational needs.
- Prepare and coordinate MEP drawings for commercial office projects.
- Work on drawings related to electrical, HVAC, fire fighting, fire alarm, plumbing, networking, and other building services.
- Plan workstations, cabins, meeting rooms, conference rooms, phone booths, reception areas, cafeterias, server rooms, storage areas, and circulation spaces.
- Optimize layouts to achieve the best possible seat efficiency without compromising usability, circulation, or client experience.
- Convert sketches, client briefs,



existing drawings, and site measurements into detailed CAD layouts.
- Prepare multiple layout options for internal management and client review.
- Incorporate revisions based on feedback from the CEO, Business Head, Projects team, architects, MEP consultants, and clients.
- Conduct or coordinate site measurements and ensure drawings accurately reflect actual site conditions.
- Review proposed layouts before demolition, partition changes, or execution begins.
- Coordinate architectural layouts with MEP services and furniture requirements to avoid clashes during execution.
- Prepare and update furniture layouts, partition layouts, reflected ceiling layouts, MEP coordination drawings, and basic execution drawings.
- Identify potential clashes, inefficient areas, and execution concerns before site work begins.
- Maintain proper drawing versions, revision history, and organized CAD files.
- Support the Business and Projects teams with presentation-ready layouts during client discussions and commercial closures.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years of AutoCAD / drafting experience.
- Prior experience in commercial offices, coworking, managed offices, workplace design, corporate interiors,



or office fit-out projects.
- Strong command of AutoCAD.
- Experience in preparing commercial office layouts and MEP coordination drawings.
- Working understanding of electrical, HVAC, fire fighting, fire alarm, plumbing, and networking drawings.
- Knowledge of preparing BOQs will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of office space planning, workstation dimensions, cabin planning, circulation requirements, furniture layouts, and basic MEP coordination.
- Ability to create commercially efficient layouts with maximum practical utilization of space.
- Strong attention to measurements, detailing, and drawing accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with multiple layout revisions.
- Comfortable working on-site in Gurugram and coordinating with project execution teams.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
