About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Specialist to manage core financial operations, support global compliance, and drive reporting accuracy. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health of our international operations, requiring hands-on experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, forecasting, and cross-border accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Global Entity Accounting & Intercompany Transactions: Oversee the accounting for Giggso's international operations in India and the Middle East. Ensure local statutory and tax compliance, prepare foreign currency translations for financial consolidation, and record intercompany transactions in accordance with transfer pricing guidelines while maintaining US GAAP conformity.
- Full-Cycle Bookkeeping & Month-End Close: Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable (vendor onboarding, invoice processing) and accounts receivable. Execute month-end close tasks, manage cash postings, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Payroll & Statutory Compliance (India):
- Process monthly payroll for Indian employees, including calculation and deposit of TDS, PF, ESI, and Skilled Tax.
- Complete monthly/quarterly tax filings and prepare schedules for GST, TDS returns, and local statutory requirements.
- Assist external auditors during statutory, tax, and internal financial audits.
- Budgets & Forecasts: Assist leadership in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts. Analyze financial data to identify trends,



track performance against budget, and provide actionable variance analysis.
- Audit & Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cashflow, P&L;, balance sheet etc. Act as a key liaison for internal and external audits, preparing necessary schedules and documentation to ensure smooth audit cycles.
- Payroll & Tax Compliance: Lead the preparation and review of payroll across our operational regions. Coordinate state, federal, and international tax registrations, manage tax notices, and administer the expense reimbursement process while ensuring strict adherence to local labor and compliance laws.
- Commissions & Variable Compensation: Review variable compensation plans for sales and implementation teams, validate commission statements, prepare commission journal entries, and reconcile commission reports to the general ledger.
- Process Improvement & Troubleshooting: Partner with operations and leadership to investigate and resolve issues within project or contract transaction data. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, implement better financial controls,



and improve efficiency as the company scales.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) required; M.Com, MBA in Finance
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of total accounting experience, with at least 2+ years handling IT/ITeS industry accounting.
- Software Mastery: Hands-on experience with accounting tools such as Tally, ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.
- Tax Knowledge: Working understanding of Indian tax laws (GST, TDS, PF/ESI) and familiarity with US cross-border accounting concepts.
- Key Skills: Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), strong financial analysis capabilities, budgeting and forecasting, reporting and clear written/verbal English communication.
