Role Overview

We are looking for a Market Research Associate who can independently track financial markets and business news, identify important developments, conduct quick research, understand the underlying business/market impact, and convert them into concise daily updates.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable reading financial news and company-related information.

Key Responsibilities

- Track financial markets and business news across stocks, sectors,



companies, economy, commodities, and global markets to identify important developments.
- Research and analyse market-moving events to understand what happened, why it happened, and its potential impact on companies and investors.
- Prepare real-time market updates covering major stock movements, sector trends, market cues, and significant corporate developments.
- Fact-check financial content by verifying numbers, company information, sources, dates, and key claims before publication.
- Identify investor takeaways and risks by highlighting why a development matters and its potential positive/negative implications.

Good to Have

- Experience in financial content writing
- Equity research / investment research experience
- Experience with financial media
- Familiarity with annual reports, investor presentations, and earnings releases
- Understanding of valuation and financial statements
