We are looking for an experienced Data Architect & Modeller to support the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide data strategy and up-to-date data architecture.

The role will focus on designing robust conceptual, logical, and physical data models, establishing data standards and governance practices, and supporting the development of scalable enterprise data platforms.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in data architecture and modelling with the ability to work effectively with business, architecture, engineering, analytics, and governance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Architecture & Data Modelling
- Design enterprise-wide and domain-specific data models aligned with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Contribute to enterprise data architecture and modelling standards.
- Define data integration patterns and support the design of data flows.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and well-governed data structures.
- Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams on solution design.
- Data Governance & Standards
- Support data model governance and data architecture assurance processes.
- Establish and promote data modelling standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data dictionaries, business glossaries, and data definitions.
- Support data governance forums and cross-functional working groups.
- Ensure data solutions address data quality, security, compliance, traceability, and consistency.
- Maintain data architecture documentation, standards, and guidelines.




- Enterprise Data Platform & Solution Delivery
- Support the design and development of modern enterprise data platforms.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to implement scalable data solutions.
- Support BI, analytics, reporting, and data engineering initiatives.
- Ensure data architecture aligns with business requirements and technical objectives.
- Contribute to large-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Metadata, Lineage & Data Management
- Support the development of enterprise metadata management capabilities.
- Contribute to metadata repositories and data management solutions.
- Enable data lineage, traceability, data ownership, and system-of-record concepts.
- Support the implementation of enterprise data management practices.
- Explore and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled data management capabilities, where appropriate.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business, data strategy, architecture, engineering, analytics, and governance teams.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business capabilities and data requirements.
- Communicate complex data architecture concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.




- Facilitate discussions around data definitions, standards, modelling, and architecture.
- Work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative environments.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 10+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, or Analytics Engineering.
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise data platforms and large-scale data solutions.
- Experience working across cloud and on-premises data environments.
- Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
- Hands-on experience with data modelling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture principles and data integration patterns.
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality practices.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.
- Experience working with multiple technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in highly regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models.
- Understanding of modern cloud data platforms and data engineering ecosystems.
- Exposure to metadata management and enterprise data cataloguing solutions.
- Experience with professional services, consulting, financial services, or other complex enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Exposure to AI-enabled data management or metadata capabilities is a plus.
