Technical Lead – Engineering

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the architecture and delivery of robust full-stack solutions. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between strategic product vision and technical execution, guiding a team of engineers to build scalable systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in up-to-date Java-based ecosystems and front-end frameworks, ensuring high-quality software development while fostering an environment of Agile excellence. This position is critical for advancing our engineering capabilities and delivering innovative products within a fast-paced, office-based setting.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

- Architect and optimize backend services leveraging microservices patterns, Kafka for event streaming, and caching solutions like Redis and Hazelcast.

- Manage database interactions and performance tuning across MySQL and Oracle environments.

- Oversee the software development lifecycle within an Agile/Scrum framework, utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Jira for continuous integration and project tracking.

- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring code quality, adherence to best practices, and timely delivery of features.





- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.

- Evaluate and integrate cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring security, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

- Facilitate face-to-face collaboration and strategic planning sessions to align technical execution with organizational goals.

Requirements

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8 to 12 years of relevant software engineering experience.

- Proven expertise in core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate for backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Angular for building responsive and dynamic user interfaces.

- Hands-on experience with messaging systems (Kafka), caching layers (Redis, Hazelcast), and version control (Git).

- Solid background in database management using MySQL and Oracle.

- Practical knowledge of cloud services on AWS, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and containerization tools like Nginx.

- Experience with Groovy and Grails is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage product backlogs, and act in a Product Owner capacity.

- Availability to work onsite five days a week in Noida (Sec 125) or willingness to relocate from North India.

- Ability to join within 45 days and complete the interview process, including a mandatory final in-person round.

- Prior experience in Fintech or product-based organizations is preferred.
