We are seeking a passionate and qualified Telugu Teacher to join our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) team in Aerocity, Hyderabad. This pivotal role is dedicated to fostering linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation among young learners, ensuring they develop a strong foundation in the Telugu language within an inquiry-based educational framework. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in nurturing students' communication skills, literacy, and understanding of Telugu heritage, contributing significantly to the school's commitment to holistic and international education.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Telugu language lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum and inquiry-based learning methodologies.

- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation, oral communication, and reading proficiency in Telugu.

- Develop and implement diverse teaching resources, including stories, poems, and cultural activities, to enhance student engagement and language acquisition.

- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning goals.





- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Telugu language learning across the broader PYP transdisciplinary themes.

- Organize and lead cultural events and language workshops that celebrate Telugu traditions and promote community involvement.

- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's linguistic development.

RequirementsRequirements

- Bachelor's degree in Telugu Literature, Education, or a related field from a recognized institution.

- Valid teaching certification and prior experience in teaching Telugu at the primary level, preferably within an IB PYP setting.

- Deep understanding of the IB PYP framework and its application to language instruction.

- Proven ability to create dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

- Strong command of the Telugu language, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.

- Experience in using digital tools and technology to enhance language learning outcomes.

- Demonstrated commitment to career development and staying current with best practices in language education.
