Position: Static Senior Engineer

- Qualification: Diploma / B-Tech / M-Tech / BE / ME - Mechanical engineering / Diploma Draftsman
- Minimum 5 years' experience in static design of sterile equipment's for biotech & sterile pharma industry

Roles & Responsibility: -

- Technical Support for enquiries: GA Sketch, Minimum volume calculations, worksheets for vessel, platform, heat exchangers, design of equipment's
- Project Execution: Preparation & review of GAD, Vessel BOQ, Fabrication drawing, vessel design, vessel working sheet, platform working sheet and heat exchanger design
- Support site engineers for trouble shooting
- Costing: Preparation of vessel, platform and heat exchanger's estimates and preparation of standard cost calculator for vessels
- Cross-functional support: Support FAT team for critical projects and applications. Support manufacturing at all stages
- Provide Inputs to piping team for nozzle orientation
- Surface area calculation of product contact parts
- Review and approval of agitator, valves & platform
- Preparation of Vessel Sketch and arriving at minimum mixing volume, minimum temp sensing volume,



minimum pH, DO level & minimum sparging level
- Nozzle orientation fouling check and updating along with piping engineering (3D team)
- Development of cone, shell & dish end.
- Detailing of sparger drawing.
- Static engineering design of sterile equipment for biotech & sterile pharma industry
- Designing of High-Capacity Fermenters & Vessels (From 10,000 L to 200,000 L). This includes designing of: -

- Heat transfer area, segments of jacket, utility header size, utility sub-header size
- Internal cooling coils
- Gas spargers
- Dimple jacket
- Limpet jacket
- Open jacket
- Agitator

Insulation for -20 C to 180 C

Knowledge & Skills: -

Knowledge of sterility & containment

Knowledge of functioning and designing of customized equipment's for biotech & pharma industry

Knowledge of statutory compliances guiding this industry (ASME BPE, ASME BPVC, CE, PED, DOSH, U STAMPING)

Knowledge of GEP (Positive Engineering Practices)

Knowledge of components
