We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Cash Application Associate to join our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for applying customer payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting daily cash application activities. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are interested in building a career in Finance, Accounting, and Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations.
Key Responsibilities
Apply customer payments received through bank transfers, checks, lockbox, EFT and other payment modes in ERP systems.
Perform daily cash posting and payment allocation activities accurately.
Reconcile customer accounts and identify unapplied or short-paid invoices.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
Maintain records of payment transactions and supporting documents.
Support month-end closing activities related to cash applications.
Ensure all activities are completed within defined SLA timelines.




Follow company policies, compliance requirements, and process controls.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Accounting and Finance concepts.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, BBA, MBA Finance, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft is an added advantage.
Internship or academic project experience in Finance/Accounting preferred.
