SAP ABAP

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience and be capable of working independently on complex RICEF objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms. The consultant should be able to manage end-to-end development activities with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with functional and technical stakeholders.

Budget- 6 to 7.5 years=20-21 LPA max.

7.6 to 8+ yrs(8-10 years)= 24-25 LPA

Key requirements:

Senior ABAP Developer with extensive SAP development experience (between 6 to 8 years)

Proven expertise in handling complex RICEF developments independently

Available for immediate joining

Willing to work from the office at least 3 days per week

Job Description

This position is part of Novozymes IT Global SAP & BI Solutions, based out of Whitefield, Bangalore.

This position is aimed at someone who has very solid knowledge and working experience in all SAP ABAP WRICEF objects.

Candidate should be self-driven, capable of driving all custom and ABAP developments during support, implementation and roll outs.

Strong analytical skills, good stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Expertise in taking up the responsibility and delivering the tasks independently in the following areas,

- Report Programming (Classical/Interactive reporting/ALV)




- Dialog programs/Module Pool programming.
- Data Dictionary.
- User exits, BADI's, BTE's, Enhancements
- SAP Scripts/Smart forms((Nice to have), Adobe Forms.
- Strong Debugging Skills.
- Expertise with ALE, IDOC, Proxy Developments
- SAP Note implementation & related dependencies
- Object Oriented ABAP, BSP (Business Server Pages) programming
- ABAP with HANA, CDS (Core Data Services), AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)

Basic Qualifications

Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Science/B.E./MBA or equivalent.with overall 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP.

- Certification in SAP ABAP (OR) ABAP on HANA is added advantage
- Experience in both Implementation and Support projects.
- Experience working with larger and complex ABAP developments and enahancements.

Candidate profile

Candidate must have minimum 6-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP.

Must have done 2 to 3 E2E implementation projects support various business processes in a multicultural and multi-location organization

Extensive experience in global roll outs across Asia, Europe, North and South America.

Very positive in understanding business needs and strong experience resolving production dumps and critical errors.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good at taking ownership and exposure to Agile ways of working

Excellent stakeholder management

Good at troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Team player and excellent communication.
