As we enter a significant phase of growth — expanding operations across the U.S. and building out our Bangalore team —we are seeking a seasoned HR leader to architect and lead our people strategy at scale.

Position Overview

The HR Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing King Rose's people strategy across our U.S. and India operations. We are looking for a strategic partner to the executive team who can build scalable HR infrastructure, lead high volume international recruiting, and foster a performance-driven, inclusive culture across geographies. You will be based in our Bangalore office and work during evening shift hours (4:30 PM – 1:00 AM IST), aligning closely with our Current York headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

- Lead end-to-end recruiting operations for both U.S. and India-based roles, managing high volume pipelines across technical, operational, and leadership positions.
- Build and manage sourcing strategies for the Indian market, including partnerships with Universities, recruitment agencies, and digital platforms such as Naukri, LinkedIn, and Shine.
- Own U.S. hiring operations, including managing job board presence, and ensuring compliance requirements.
- Develop employer branding initiatives to position King Rose as an employer of choice in both markets.
- Establish structured interview frameworks, offer management processes, and onboarding programs that create a consistent and high-quality candidate experience.
- Build workforce planning models in partnership with department heads to anticipate headcount needs 3–6 months ahead.

HR Strategy & Organizational Development

- Partner with the leadership team to design and execute a people strategy that supports aggressive scaling across both geographies.
- Lead organizational design efforts including role clarity, reporting structures,



and team architecture as the company grows.
- Build and institutionalize performance management frameworks, including goal-setting, quarterly reviews, and annual appraisal cycles.
- Drive succession planning and internal talent mobility to develop a strong leadership pipeline.
- Establish compensation benchmarking and pay equity practices for U.S. and Indian markets, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.

Branding

- Senior HR manager will be responsible to be the voice and architect of our talent identity.
- Responsible to influence top talent discover us, create great experience during hiring, ensure employees are connected with King Rose mission every single day.
- Design and execute a comprehensive employer branding strategy that reflects our culture, values, and growth vision.
- Partner with leadership and marketing to craft compelling narratives for careers pages, social media, and recruitment campaigns.
- Build employee advocacy programs that turn our people into brand ambassadors.
- Curate impactful candidate experiences—from the first touchpoint to onboarding—ensuring every interaction reflects our values.
- Use data and analytics to measure brand perception and continuously refine our approach.

HR Operations & Compliance

- Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs in compliance with U.S. federal/state labor laws and Indian labor regulations.
- Own the HRIS ecosystem — select, implement, and optimize tools that enable data-driven decision-making across the HR function.
- Lead grievance resolution, disciplinary proceedings, and workplace investigations with professionalism, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
- Manage all offboarding and exit interview processes, deriving insights that inform retention and culture strategies.

Culture & Employee Experience





- Champion a high-performance, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture across both the U.S. and India offices.
- Design and lead company-wide onboarding, orientation, and culture-building programs that embed King Rose's values from day one.
- Build and execute employee engagement strategies — pulse surveys, recognition programs, team events — with measurable outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for employees across all levels on culture, conduct, and career development.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or Master's in HR strongly preferred.
- HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent is a significant advantage.
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or head-of-HR capacity.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR operations across India and the U.S. in a multinational or cross-border organization.
- Deep expertise in Indian talent markets — Bangalore/metro sourcing, compensation benchmarking, and labor law compliance (Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESIC, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law, benefits administration
- Proven track record of building HR functions and people infrastructure from the ground up in a scaling organization.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis for HR reporting and workforce planning.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the construction, interior fit-out, or professional services industry.
- Prior experience supporting a U.S.-headquartered company from an India delivery center.
