Job Responsibilities:

- Server Management: Configure and maintain web and application servers such as Nginx, Apache, Tomcat and commercial product IBM WebSphere Application servers.
- Environment Provisioning: Deploy and manage Python environments, package dependencies, virtual environments, and runtimes.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze logs, javacore and help resolve memory leaks or latency bottlenecks.
- CI/CD Integration: Maintain automated deployment pipelines, continuous delivery mechanisms, and container infrastructure.
- Security & Compliance: Implement server-side security patches, SSL/TLS certificates, and identity access management. Assists in resolving web, application server vulnerabilities in coordination with security team and application engineering.
- Database Maintenance:



Configure and troubleshoot connections to relational databases.
- Infrastructure Automation: Build custom Python CLI utilities, cron jobs, and scripts to automate routine system tasks.
- Disaster Recovery: Design, test, and execute server data backup protocols and failover procedures.

Required Skills:

- Python Expertise: Core Python, scripting, and subprocess management.
- Web/App Server Stacks: Deep knowledge of application servers (IBM WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat) and proxy servers (HTTPD server, Nginx) and load balancers.
- OS Administration: Expert proficiency with Linux environments, shell scripting (Bash), and system-level configuration.
- Framework Familiarity: Practical understanding of Python web frameworks.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code tools like Ansible.
- Networking Protocol: Solid understanding of OSI layer, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and firewall rule configurations.

Experience: 4 to 7 Years

Skills: Middleware administration, IBM Websphere, Python/Shell Scripting, Ansible(valuable to have)
