Description

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a broad range of complex legal agreements, including commercial contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, partnership deals, and strategic transactions.

• Act as a trusted legal advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, HR, Sales, Finance), enabling business decisions with sound legal judgment.

• Oversee corporate governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management, with a strong focus on tech, data protection, and evolving digital regulations.

• Own and optimize the contract lifecycle management process, including governance of renewals, compliance tracking, audits, and documentation standards.

• Partner with external counsel on high-stakes matters such as disputes, transactions, fundraising, and regulatory issues.

• Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments, proactively advising the business on potential impact and mitigation strategies.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve internal legal policies, compliance frameworks, playbooks, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Support and lead legal aspects of due diligence processes,



fundraising rounds, investor relations, and corporate structuring activities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Law.

• 6–10 years of legal experience, ideally combining in-house and/or reputable law firm exposure.

• Strong expertise in contract law, commercial agreements, and corporate legal advisory.

• Proven exposure to SaaS, technology, data privacy frameworks, IP, and employment law is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to operate independently while influencing stakeholders at senior and executive level.

• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate legal complexity into practical business solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify legal concepts for non-legal audiences.

• Experience with legal tech tools such as Google Workspace, DocuSign, Notion, and CLM platforms.

• Strategic, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and decision-making ability in quick-paced environments.
