Role Description The Plant Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Valsad, responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and ensuring smooth production activities specifically of SS REACTOR. This position involves monitoring production schedules, coordinating with supervisors and technical staff, and supporting compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. The Plant Officer will track material usage, maintain records, and help optimize processes to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. The role includes collaborating with maintenance teams, reporting operational issues, and assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.



The Plant Officer also supports communication between plant management and other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong operational and production management skills, including ability to monitor workflows, manage resources, and support process optimization.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and basic understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations relevant to plant operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation, record-keeping, and use of standard office and plant management software for reporting and analysis.
- Candidates should possess communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and resolve issues collaboratively.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and compliance.
- B.Sc/M.Sc/Diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering; prior min 2-3 years of experience in chemical reaction process plants is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Valsad and adapt to rotating or extended shifts as required by plant operations.
