Daily Production & Quality Monitoring

- Monitor daily production, quality performance, and adherence to Royal Enfield's requirements.

Production Planning & Delivery Coordination

- Coordinate with the customer's plant team regarding production schedules, material requirements, delivery priorities, and any changes in demand.

Quality & Customer Complaint Management

- Attend to quality issues, customer complaints, line rejections, and customer-specific requirements, ensuring timely communication and closure.
Trial Runs & Recent Product Support
- Support trial runs, new product development, engineering changes, process changes, and related customer activities.
Process & Product Quality Compliance
- Verify compliance with agreed processes, specifications, inspection standards, and product quality requirements at the customer end.
Inspection & Rejection analysis
- Coordinate inspection activities, analyze rejection and quality concerns, initiate root-cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Customer-Plant Communication Link




- Act as the direct communication link between Royal Enfield and our plant for production, quality, delivery, engineering, and other operational requirements.
Additional Supplier Coordination Responsibility
- In addition to the above customer-facing responsibilities, the Resident Engineer will also coordinate with the Chennai-based supplier to ensure uninterrupted supply.

This will include:

- Monitoring supplier production and dispatch status.
- Coordinating material availability against customer requirements.
- Following up on delivery schedules and priorities.
- Escalating potential supply risks and shortages in advance.
- Coordinating quality issues and corrective actions with the supplier.
- Ensuring timely communication between the supplier, INEL plant, and Royal Enfield.
- Supporting the resolution of supply and quality-related issues to avoid customer line stoppage.
