Business Manager

Job Summary
Shriram Finance Limited is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Manager to lead business development, customer acquisition, and portfolio growth in Bangalore. The role involves managing sales teams, developing channel partnerships, driving loan disbursements, maintaining portfolio quality, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with RBI regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Drive business growth by achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in the Bangalore market.
- Develop relationships with vehicle dealers, manufacturers, builders, SMEs, and local business communities.
- Expand the customer base through field sales, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
Product Sales
Promote and generate business for:
- Commercial Vehicle Loans
- Used Commercial Vehicle Finance
- Passenger Vehicle Loans
- Two-Wheeler Loans
- Personal Loans
- Business Loans
- MSME Loans
- Gold Loans
- Fixed Deposits (where applicable)
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate Sales Executives and Relationship Officers.
- Allocate sales targets and monitor daily performance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Build a high-performing and customer-focused sales team.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with customers, dealers, Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), brokers,
and corporate clients.
- Ensure excellent customer service and long-term customer retention.
- Resolve customer queries and escalations promptly.
Credit & Portfolio Management
- Ensure proper customer profiling, KYC verification, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the credit and operations teams for timely loan processing and disbursement.
- Monitor loan portfolios to maintain high asset quality and control delinquency.
- Support collection and recovery activities whenever required.
Sales & Marketing
- Conduct field visits, promotional campaigns, and lead generation activities.
- Participate in local business events and dealer engagement programs.
- Increase market penetration across Bangalore and surrounding areas.
Compliance & MIS
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline data, and management information reports (MIS).
- Ensure ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.
Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- MBA (Marketing/Finance) preferred.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Banking, NBFC, Automobile Finance, Retail Finance, or Financial Services.
- Minimum 2 years of team handling experience preferred.

- Willingness to travel across Bangalore and nearby districts.
- Possession of a valid driving licence and two-wheeler is an added advantage.
