Description

We are seeking an experienced API Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing and a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and functionality of our web services.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement test plans for API testing.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests on APIs.
- Identify, record, and track bugs or issues using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand API specifications and requirements.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of APIs through thorough testing.

Skills and Qualifications





- 2-3 years of experience in API testing or software testing.
- Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, Rest assured, Swagger.
- Solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
