Job Title: Application Engineer-Sr Analyst

Role & Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

- 3-8 years of experience in software development, implementing and supporting technology/vendor platforms aligned with business requirements.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining applications in UNIX/AIX environments.
- Solid proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and PL/SQL, with experience in application development and production support.
- Hands-on experience with UNIX/AIX, IBM MQ, Tidal/AutoSys scheduling, HP QC, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Experience managing applications throughout the SDLC, including requirements, development, testing, deployment, production support, and maintenance.
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects while balancing functional objectives, budgets, timelines, and delivery commitments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to independently prioritize project and BAU responsibilities.
- 2+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or related financial technology environments is preferred.
- Positive understanding of sanctions/wire screening processes, including OFAC, internal/external lists,



alert review, list management, rule definition, system tuning, scaling, and experience with CGI HotScan or similar sanctions-screening platforms.

Qualifications

- Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain off-the-shelf vendor products deployed in UNIX, Java, Oracle, and AIX environments.
- Provide application support for Compliance applications, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors and business teams to resolve critical, SLA-driven production issues within defined timelines.
- Research and evaluate new methodologies, technologies, and tools, and share relevant knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, applications, and responsibilities based on project and business requirements.
- Analyze and validate business requirements, issue specifications, application flows, and project deliverables.
- Track and manage BAU issues using Jira and handle incident (INC) tickets through resolution and closure.
- Provide SME support to L1 teams, assisting with complex troubleshooting, issue tracking, vendor coordination, and resolution.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to identify, track, and resolve application and production issues.

- Work closely with technology and security teams to support system vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with security standards.
