Job Title: Lead Application Engineer-AVP

Role & Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

- 8-12 years of experience in software development, application support, and implementation of technology/vendor platforms, with a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience developing, supporting, maintaining, and deploying applications in UNIX/AIX environments.
- Strong proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, and application development, with hands-on experience in enterprise production environments.
- Hands-on experience with UNIX, AIX, IBM MQ, Tidal/AutoSys, HP QC, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Proven experience leading and managing projects across the complete SDLC, ensuring functional objectives, budget constraints, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems, technologies, products, and business domains.
- 5+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Payments applications, with exposure to compliance and financial technology environments.
- Positive understanding of sanctions/wire screening systems and processes, including CGI HotScan or similar platforms,



OFAC/Acuity and internal/external lists, alert review, list management, rule definition, system tuning, and application scaling.

Qualifications

- Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain off-the-shelf vendor products deployed across UNIX, Java, Oracle, and AIX environments.
- Provide application support for Compliance applications, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and detailed root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors and business stakeholders to resolve critical, SLA-driven production issues within agreed timelines.
- Research and adopt new technologies, methodologies, and tools, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Demonstrate flexibility in learning and supporting new technologies, applications, and tasks based on evolving business requirements.
- Analyze and validate business requirements, issue specifications, application workflows, and project deliverables.

- Track BAU issues and INC tickets using Jira, ensuring timely follow-up, resolution, and closure.

- Provide SME support to L1 teams, coordinate with vendors, track complex issues, and work with cross-functional teams on system vulnerability remediation.Work closely with technology and security teams to support system vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with security standards.
