Key Responsibilities

- Develop, train, test and validate AI/ML models for industrial machine vision applications.
- Work on image classification, object detection, segmentation and defect detection.
- Prepare, clean, annotate and manage image datasets for model development.
- Perform model evaluation, validation, optimization and performance improvement.
- Develop image processing solutions using Python and OpenCV.
- Support deployment and integration of AI models with machine vision systems.
- Monitor production model performance and support model retraining using new data.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies for AI and machine vision inspection applications.
- Evaluate samples, images, defects, lighting, cameras, lenses and inspection requirements.
- Conduct proof-of-concept trials and prepare feasibility reports and technical recommendations.
- Support installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of AI-based inspection applications.
- Perform application testing using OK/NOK samples and support SAT and customer demonstrations.
- Troubleshoot inspection and application-related issues during production trials.
- Coordinate with AI/ML,



software, engineering and project teams.
- Participate in customer discussions, technical reviews and application trials.
- Prepare technical, validation, testing and knowledge-transfer documentation.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 3 6 years of relevant experience in AI/ML, Computer Vision, Machine Vision or Industrial Inspection.
- Hands-on experience with Python and OpenCV is required.
- Practical experience in AI model development, training and validation.
- Experience with image datasets, annotation and image-processing techniques.
- Exposure to industrial machine vision systems, cameras, lenses and lighting is preferred.
- Valuable analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
