Job Description:

- Strong understanding of security data onboarding, normalization, and governance principles.

- Strong understanding of Splunk Common Information Model standards and associated data modelling concepts.

- Experience validating data quality, field mappings, tagging, and normalization outcomes.

- Ability to assess whether onboarded data satisfies security monitoring and detection requirements.

- Good understanding of security log sources and telemetry generated by infrastructure, application, endpoint, network, database, and cloud technologies.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent documentation skills with the ability to create onboarding standards and governance artefacts.

- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.





- Ability to work collaboratively across Security Operations Centre, Security Content, and Platform Management teams.

- Experience working within a Splunk environment supporting data onboarding and governance activities.

- Experience with Cribl and data pipeline technologies.

- Experience supporting large-scale log onboarding and telemetry management initiatives.

- Experience within financial services or highly regulated environments.

- Experience supporting security monitoring and detection engineering functions.
