AI Engineer
Client is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our team to help a strategic banking client in various AI development activities.
As an AI Engineer with NTT DATA, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging your skills to design and implement cutting-edge AI solutions. With a focus on creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on transformative projects that drive business intelligence and decision-making across diverse industries.

Job Duties:

Executes specification-driven development activities based on approved business and technical specifications.

Builds user interfaces, workflows, APIs, integrations, orchestration logic, prompts, agents, rules, and AI-powered services.

Develops ingestion pipelines, data transformation services, indexing services, retrieval capabilities, and supporting platform components.

Implements integrations with approved internal and external systems and data sources.

Produces and maintains source code, configuration artifacts, prompts, rules, and technical implementation documentation.

Creates and maintains automated test assets, unit tests and validation scripts.

Performs code validation, unit testing, defect remediation,



and quality assurance activities.

Participates in peer reviews and code reviews to ensure compliance with architecture and engineering standards.

Supports deployment, environment configuration, defect resolution, and release management activities. Incorporates business validation feedback and technical review findings into implementation refinements.

Maintains all implementation assets within MSIG-approved repositories and development environments.

Preferred Skills:
LLM Expertise: Deep understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities, limitations, and optimal interaction patterns, including familiarity with different LLM architectures and prompting techniques.

Prompt Engineering Expertise: Advanced proficiency in crafting, testing, and refining prompts to produce consistent, accurate, and appropriate AI outputs.
Technical Understanding: Sufficient technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with AI engineers and operations specialists on prompt implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python is highly beneficial, as it is widely used in AI development and for scripting, automation, and interacting with AI models.
Analytical Skills:



Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate prompt performance data, identify patterns in AI responses, and implement data-driven improvements.
