Job Description Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant

Experience: 8+ Years
Primary Skill: SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance
Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition / GROW with SAP / SAP Cloud ERP

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant with 8+ years of experience, strong functional expertise across FI and CO, and preferably hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The candidate should be capable of independently handling Finance workstreams across the complete implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations from requirement gathering, Fit-to-Standard, configuration and testing through cutover, go-live and hypercare.
- Strong hands-on experience across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger and Margin Analysis/CO-PA.
- Strong understanding of month-end/year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliation and statutory processes.
- Robust integration knowledge across FI-MM, FI-SD, FI-PP and FI-PS.
- Conduct customer workshops, understand business requirements and translate them into SAP standard solutions.
- Handle SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical/integration teams for reports,



interfaces, forms, workflows and enhancements.
- Mentor junior consultants and independently manage customer and cross-functional stakeholders.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Preferred

Candidate should preferably have hands-on experience with:

- SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition / GROW with SAP
- SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard
- SAP Best Practices and Scope Items
- Central Business Configuration (CBC)
- SAP Fiori
- SAP Migration Cockpit
- SAP Cloud ALM
- Key User Extensibility, Custom Fields, CDS Views and BAdIs
- APIs, integrations and Output Management
- Clean Core principles

Actual Public Cloud project experience is strongly preferred over certification-only exposure.

Good-to-Have FICO Sub-Modules / Capabilities

Exposure to one or more of the following would be an advantage:

TRM (Treasury & Risk Management), RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting), Group Reporting, Advanced Financial Closing, Credit Management, Collections & Dispute Management, Cash Management, Multi-Bank Connectivity, Document & Reporting Compliance, Product Costing and Material Ledger.

Mandatory Experience

- 8+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP Public Cloud implementations.
- Solid hands-on FI/CO configuration experience.
- Strong Finance business-process knowledge.
- Experience in requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, migration, cutover and go-live.
- Strong customer-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently lead a Finance workstream and mentor junior consultants.

Preferred

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance certification, multiple Public Cloud implementations, multi-country/global implementation experience, and exposure to presales, solutioning, estimation and customer workshops would be highly desirable.
