- Develop and review vessel designs, including hull forms, general arrangements, and structural concepts.
- Perform hydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations, stability analysis, and resistance/power estimations.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, design reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Conduct intact and damage stability calculations in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Perform weight estimation, weight control, and vessel center-of-gravity calculations.
- Carry out vessel performance calculations, including resistance, propulsion, and seakeeping assessments where required.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, and production engineering teams.
- Liaise with shipyards, ship owners, classification societies, consultants, and other stakeholders.




- Ensure designs comply with applicable IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, class rules, flag-state requirements, and other relevant standards.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations submitted by vendors and subcontractors.
- Support current-build, conversion, modification, and repair projects as required.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, inspections, and commissioning activities.
- Identify engineering issues and provide practical and technically sound solutions.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
