POD Foundry is a well-funded US startup, targeting the huge $1T+ real estate space. In particular, the company is manufacturing highly differentiable breakthrough prefabricated building modules (PODs) that completely disrupt how buildings are built. POD Foundry modules are multi-disciplinary and utilize innovations across all building disciplines, architecture, structure and MEPF services.

POD Foundry is setting up its first factory in Vizag which will be completely export oriented. You will have the opportunity to witness the entire factory setup cycle from sketch to mass production. We are getting together best in class structural engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, BIM Engineers/Architects, QA/QC professionals and managers, among others. You will have the opportunity to work on all stages of the building module development lifecycle in the factory, that is prototyping, EVT, DVT, PVT & MP. Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Engineer Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing to lead quality assurance and reliability efforts and ensure compliance with drawings, standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will ensure quality planning, audits, testing procedures and improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality outputs across projects and products.

Job Description:

- Develop and implement QA standards, processes, and procedures across projects and teams.
- Conduct detailed inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for quality issues and customer complaints.
- Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to address quality concerns at every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Prepare, Review and approve quality documentation such as inspection reports, test plans, FMEA, PPAP, and quality control plans.
- Manage quality metrics and generate regular reports for senior management.
- Mentor and train junior QA engineers and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Support supplier quality audits and vendor assessments.




- Participate in risk assessments and continuous improvement programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering).
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, preferably in engineering or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven knowledge of QA tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with international standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in QA tools, instruments and MS Office.

Good to have:

- Candidates having experience in Quality assurance and Testing of following will have an added advantage:

- Structural Works e.g. LGSF, Steel Structures, Aluminum Parts etc. Fabricated and welded Items
- Interiors and finishes e.g. Panels, Doors, Hinges, Gypsum Boards, tiles, sand stones, paints etc Interiors and finishing items
- Electricals Wires, cables, Panels, Distribution Units, Lighting systems, HVAC, controllers and Power Electronics
- Manufacturing, testing and quality checks of MEPFs and plumbing parts.
- Engineers having experience in Design and Manufacturing of Rigs for reliability testing of doors, windows, drawers, shutters etc. will have an advantage
- Past experience in/for Test Agencies
- Experience in PEB & Interiors
