Product DevelopmentTrial Monitoring

- Coordinate trial runs: Schedule and oversee engineering and production trial runs (Alpha, Beta, Pilot phases) for new lighting components.
- Track design modifications: Monitor changes in engineering drawings and ensure updates are implemented on the shop floor.
- Resolve build issues: Identify technical glitches during prototype assembly and work with RD to fix them.

Quality Compliance Management

- Ensure regulatory compliance: Verify that lighting systems meet automotive standards (e.g., AIS, ECE, or DOT regulations for brightness, beam patterns, and water resistance).
- Manage documentation: Prepare and maintain PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documents.
- Testing coordination: Oversee environmental, vibration, photometric, and life-cycle testing for current products.

- Timeline Control

- Project tracking: Maintain Master Development Schedules to ensure milestones are met without delaying vehicle launch timelines.
- Cross-functional alignment: Act as the central bridge between RD, Tooling, Quality Control,



Vendor Development, and Production Planning Control (PPC).
- Supplier coordination: Follow up with suppliers for initial sample submissions and component localization.

Required SkillsQualifications

- Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in New Product Development (NPD), or Product Control

- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with injection molding, vacuum metallization, and LED PCB assembly.
- Understanding of photometric testing and automotive lighting regulations.
- Proficiency in reading 2D/3D engineering drawings (AutoCAD, Catia, or Creo).
- Knowledge of core quality tools (PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA).
