Role Summary

Responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse and sortation operations , ensuring smooth shift execution, productivity, quality, safety, and compliance while meeting operational KPIs and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily operations and sortation activities to ensure timely and accurate execution.

- Lead and engage the operations team, ensuring effective people management and performance .

- Plan and deploy manpower based on volume, capacity, and operational requirements.

- Manage warehouse logistics processes and ensure adherence to SOPs.

- Drive productivity, performance, KPI and SLA targets through regular tracking and analysis.

- Monitor quality, safety and compliance standards and ensure timely corrective actions.

- Conduct RCA for operational gaps/misses and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

- Drive process improvement initiatives using Kaizen / Lean / Six Sigma principles.

- Support shift and capacity planning based on business volumes and operational requirements.

- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization .





- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and escalations.

- Maintain effective communication across teams and ensure smooth handover between shifts.

Preferred Skills Experience

- 13 years of experience in Operations / Warehouse / Logistics / Sortation .

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to manage teams and work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven workplace .

- Working knowledge of Excel, operational dashboards and KPI tracking .

- Exposure to Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma methodologies is an added advantage.
