Lead Supplier Quality EV Aggregates

Purpose

Lead Supplier Quality for EV aggregates to ensure supplier process capability, component quality, PPAP readiness, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements while driving a Zero PPM in Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Quality & Program Management

- Lead quality assurance for EV aggregates including Battery Packs, Motors, Controllers/Inverters, Chargers, HVAC, Axles, Suspension, Braking Systems, and other critical systems of chassis parts / assemblies.
- Drive APQP, supplier development, and PPAP approval activities for current product launches and engineering changes.
- Establish supplier quality metrics and drive performance against PPM, warranty, delivery quality, and cost-of-poor-quality targets.

Process Compliance & Supplier Development

- Conduct supplier audits, process assessments, and capability evaluations to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.
- Review and approve PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, Process Flow Diagrams, and PPAP documentation.
- Lead supplier improvement initiatives Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke methodologies.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives through capability enhancement,



process optimization, and adoption of industry best practices.
- Establish supplier development roadmaps and monitor progress against quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability targets.

Problem Solving & Risk Management

- Drive containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using problem solving CORE tools methodologies.
- Resolve supplier-related manufacturing, field quality concerns.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain quality risks to ensure uninterrupted production.

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Collaborate with Sourcing /NPD, Product Development, Manufacturing Quality, and Suppliers to achieve quality and launch objectives.
- Lead supplier performance reviews and present key quality metrics, risks, and improvement plans to management.
- Mentor and develop Supplier Quality Engineers and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering.
- Experience: 16-18 years in Automotive/EV manufacturing with minimum 5 years in Supplier Quality leadership.
