Purpose of the Job (Max 500 words)

- The B2B Revenue Assurance Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end revenue assurance across Airtel Africa's Enterprise (B2B) business portfolio. The role will ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of revenue streams arising from Enterprise Connectivity, Data Services, Fixed Business, Managed Services, International Capacity, Cloud, Digital, ICT, Wholesale, and other B2B products.
- The incumbent will work closely with Commercial, Product, Technology, Billing, Finance, IT, Network, and Operating Country teams to design and implement preventive and detective controls that eliminate revenue leakage across the entire B2B customer lifecycle, from product setup and provisioning to usage collection, rating, billing, invoicing, collections, and partner settlements.
- The role requires a solid combination of technical telecom knowledge and business acumen with deep understanding of B2B products, enterprise billing systems, network architecture, mediation platforms, CRM systems, revenue flows, and contract management. The individual will lead strategic assurance initiatives, strengthen controls, drive automation, identify leakage opportunities, and ensure accurate reporting of financial impact and risk mitigation.

Purpose of the Job

1. End-to-End B2B Revenue Assurance

- Own Revenue Assurance framework for Airtel Africa B2B and Enterprise business.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue across the entire Order-to-Cash cycle.
- Conduct reconciliation between CRM, Provisioning, Mediation, Billing, ERP, and Collection systems.
- Identify and mitigate revenue leakages across all B2B products and services.
- 2. Enterprise Product Assurance
- Perform assurance reviews for:
- IPLC
- MPLS
- Internet Leased Lines
- SIP Trunk Services
- Cloud & Managed Services
- Data Centre Services
- SD-WAN
- International Capacity
- Fixed Business Solutions




- Wholesale & Carrier Services
- Ensure correct product configuration, rating, charging, and billing.

3. Billing & Contract Assurance

- Validate enterprise contracts against system configurations.
- Ensure billing compliance with approved commercials and contractual terms.
- Review discounts, waivers, credits, and special pricing approvals.
- Identify under-billing, over-billing, and revenue leakage scenarios.

4. Technical Revenue Assurance

- Analyse network usage records, mediation data, billing feeds, and service inventory.
- Validate data flow across network, mediation, charging, and billing platforms.
- Perform assurance checks on routers, switches, transmission systems, service delivery platforms, and related B2B infrastructure.
- Ensure revenue completeness from network generation to invoice generation.

5. Leakage Detection & Control Framework

- Design preventive and detective controls across B2B revenue streams.
- Drive automation of RA controls and reporting.
- Quantify and report revenue leakages, recoveries, and savings achieved.
- Build dashboards and KPIs for continuous monitoring.

6. Stakeholder Management & Governance

- Collaborate with Product, Technology, IT, Finance, Commercial, and Operating Companies.
- Lead governance reviews and risk discussions with senior leadership.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and control enhancements.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and control gaps.

7. Data Analytics & Insights

- Utilize advanced analytics to identify revenue trends and anomalies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for leakage incidents.
- Support business decisions through financial and operational insights.
- Develop management presentations and executive dashboards.

8. Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor Revenue Assurance analysts and managers.
- Develop RA capabilities and best practices across Airtel Africa operations.
- Drive performance, talent development, and succession planning.
