Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented AI Annotation Specialist in the Healthcare domain to create, review, and validate high-quality training and evaluation datasets for healthcare conversational AI solutions.

The role will support the improvement of virtual assistants, contact-center automation, agent-assist tools, conversation summarization models, and next-best-action solutions. The specialist will annotate healthcare customer interactions across voice, chat, email, SMS, and digital service channels while ensuring domain accuracy, consistency, customer empathy, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare payer operations, member services, claims, prior authorization, provider support, pharmacy benefits, or care management, combined with solid analytical and annotation skills.

- Annotate healthcare customer-care interactions from voice calls, chats, emails, service tickets, and portal messages.
- Classify customer intents and sub-intents using approved healthcare taxonomies.
- Identify primary, secondary, and multiple intents within complex conversations.
- Label conversation stages, customer requests, agent responses, resolutions, follow-up actions, and escalation reasons.
- Transcribe and validate relevant portions of voice interactions according to annotation guidelines.
- Normalize informal,



incomplete, or conversational language without changing the original meaning.

- Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, health information management, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Healthcare payer operations
- Member or customer services
- Claims processing
- Prior authorization
- Provider services
- Pharmacy benefits
- Medical billing
- Care management
- Healthcare contact-center operations

- Strong written comprehension and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret complex conversations and apply detailed annotation guidelines consistently.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify subtle differences in intent, context, and response quality.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive healthcare information.
- Strong documentation and issue-escalation skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, quality trackers, and web-based annotation tools.
